When Bitcoin Dips, I Think About Healing

Every time Bitcoin pulls back, the same conversation starts again.

People panic.
People declare it dead.
People say, “See? I knew it was a bubble.”

And every time, the same thought runs through my head:

Healing looks exactly like this.

Not the Instagram version of healing.

The real version.

Because the truth is — when you’re recovering from narcissistic abuse or complex trauma — progress doesn’t move in a straight line.

It moves like a market chart.

You have strong runs forward.

Then sudden drops that make you question everything.

You start wondering if you actually made progress at all.

Old memories resurface.
Old emotions hit harder than expected.
Old patterns try to reassert themselves.

It can feel like you’re right back where you started.

But you’re not.

What you’re experiencing is a retracement, not a collapse.

Anyone who has spent time studying Bitcoin understands something important:

Volatility is not failure.

It’s the cost of growth.

The early days were wild swings.
Then slightly less wild swings.
Then institutional interest.
Then deeper corrections — but also higher floors.

The long-term trend still moves upward.

Healing works the same way.

At first, everything feels unstable.

You start seeing things you couldn’t see before — the manipulation, the gaslighting, the lies.

That awareness alone can feel like the market crashing inside your own life.

But awareness isn’t destruction.

It’s price discovery.

You’re discovering the true value of your own boundaries.

You’re learning which relationships were built on truth — and which were built on control.

And just like Bitcoin, once you see the underlying fundamentals, something changes inside you.

The dips stop scaring you as much.

You understand that temporary drops don’t erase the long-term trajectory.

Some days will still feel heavy.

Some memories will still surface unexpectedly.

But the floor keeps rising.

Your self-respect grows.

Your boundaries strengthen.

Your tolerance for manipulation drops to zero.

That’s not failure.

That’s a stronger network forming underneath your life.

So yes — Bitcoin may dip.

And healing may have hard days.

But if the fundamentals are strong…

The long-term trend still points upward.

And for what it’s worth —

I’m still orange-pilled.

In both.
